having an evening off: came to town and stole wifi from a bar. infested by 400+ mosquito and sandfly bites and 80+ tick bites (and many more unknown bugs’) on first 3 days, all inflammed. rashes look like sepsis but don’t blanche. had quite an anaphylactic reaction and took antihistamine. otherwise all good. still comp…lete and no serious tropical diseases yet. photos (of rashes) coming soon.
